Shell Game by Ridley Pearson-ADVISABLE

Pearson, Ridley, Shell Game (Kingdom Keepers). Disney Hyperion, 2012. Pgs. 544.

Language: G, Violence: PG-13, Mature Content: G

Amanda and all the other DHS, Finn, Maybeck, Charlene, Willa, and Philby, are back and have been invited to be guests on the Disney Dream. All they have to do is cut the ribbon to launch the DHI program that will run on this state-of-the-art cruise ship.  Things aren’t right below deck, however. The Overtakers have infiltrated the ship and are believed to have stolen an important journal and have some kind of mission planned with it to fulfill their dastardly desires. With no idea who they can trust, can the 5 DHS stop the Overtakers before it’s too late?

Although the reader is left with more questions than answers, they will most likely throw this book against the nearest wall and wish they could time travel to later this year when the next book in this series will come out. The characters are entertaining and likable, but also have a lot of character development in this book. The plot is filled with enough mystery and action to keep most fantasy readers interested and the intense, well-written cliffhanger is truly ingenious. Readers who like adventure, good versus evil fiction,  and Disney-inspired fiction will enjoy reading this book.
