Joe on the Go by Peggy Perry Anderson-OPTIONAL

Anderson, Peggy Perry,  Joe on the Go. Sandpiper, 2012. EARLY READER.

Joe wants to go, go, go and play, but no one wants to do it with him. He’s either too big, too small, too fast, or too slow. Can Joe find someone who wants to play with him?

Although some of the words seem a little difficult for an easy level one, readers who are  a little more secure with their reading will enjoy this book. The use of sight words and rhyme are entertaining and enjoyable. The pictures are fun to look at and help to tell the story. Overall, young reader who are learning to read through the sight word approach and like frogs will enjoy reading this book. EL (K-3). OPTIONAL. Reviewer: Jessica Moody, Library Media Specialist, Olympus Jr. High.
