The Invisible Man by Arthur Yorinks - OPTIONAL

Yorinks, Arthur The Invisible Man illustrated by Doug Cushman 32 pg. Harper Collins, 2011. PICTURE BOOK. $16.99. Sy Kravitz sells fruit and everything is wonderful until the day he becomes invisible. Once invisible, his life takes a turn for the worst...his customers stop coming and he gets blamed for crimes across the world. It isn't until he works with a magician that he finally finds the cure...getting fruit thrown at him!
The story is entertaining but pretty random. It doesn't really make sense why he turned invisible and why getting fruit thrown at him made him visible. Nonetheless, I think kids would be entertained. The illustrations are fun. EL-OPTIONAL. Whitney, Library-Teacher.
