Werewolf Versus Dragon by David Sinden - ADVISABLE

Language: G, Violence: G, Sexual Content: G

Ulf is a werewolf that lives within the vast properties of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Beasts. Apprenticed to Dr. Fielding, a crypto-veterinarian, he and everyone associated with RSPCB only has one enemy, Baron Marackai, who delights in kidnapping and killing all mythical creatures. One night, while working at the society, Ulf meets a grief-stricken mother dragon whose baby has been recently killed. Looking into her situation, Ulf discovers a dark and terrifying secret that could destroy all mythical creatures. With the help of Orson the giant, Tiana the fairy, and Dr. Fielding, Ulf will have to face the greatest evil he’s ever experienced. Will he succeed? Who killed the mother dragon’s baby? Is the Baron behind this plot or is there a new enemy?

A fun fantasy for mythical creature fans.  The plot is well-developed. The characters are likable, unique, and fun to read about. Readers who like mystery, cryptozoology, and magic will enjoy reading this book.
