Made for each other (My boyfriend is a monster Book 2) by Paul Storrie –OPTIONAL

Storrie, Paul and Illustrated by Cowgur, Eldon Made for each other (My boyfriend is a monster Book 2), 128 pgs. Graphic Universe, 2011. $9.95. Language-G (Swear Count: 0); Violence-G; Sexual Content-G.
When Maria sees Tom Stone at school, she knows he is the guy for her. When Maria pursues him, she discovers that his family is a bit strange, not considering the fact they own a funeral home. A rash of accidental deaths began in their small town and it’s all tied together. Tom and his family are not what they seem, and what they are doing is losing control. Can Maria and her musical abilities help? Can Maria save Toms heart and win it at the same time?
Although the second book in the series, it has a different author and illustrator. They lost me. Despite the similar premise, the art was not as creative and the plot was kind of disarrayed. It was all the cheesiness of a love story and all the action of a monster book, without the personality to pull it off like the first book did.
MS – OPTIONAL. Reviewer: Stephanie MLS graduate.
