City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare - ESSENTIAL

Clare, Cassandra City of Fallen Angels, 424 p. McElderry (Simon), 2011.  $20.  Violence – PG-13; Language – PG-13 (30 swears, 0 ‘f’), Mature Content: G.  After the battle in Indrus, the forging of the Covenant and rescuing Jace from death’s clutches, Clary is ready to lear her role as a Shadowhunter and enjoy some time with her man.  Instead, however, she has brought a greater threat into the world, even if she doesn’t yet know it.  Someone is out to manipulate events and would happily kill everyone on their way.  A very deep game is afoot and the consequences of Clary’s love will be violent and devastating.  Clare really knows how to keep a secret and tie your stomach up in knots trying to find the true enemy.  You WILL NOT be disappointed.  I can also tell you that my bad habit of reading the end of the book first was not helpful at all this time.  Just start from the beginning and enjoy th gut-wrenching experience.  MS, HS – ESSENTIAL.
