Vesper by Jeff Sampson

Sampson, Jeff Vesper, pgs. 304. Balzer & Bray, 2011. $16.99. Language- PG (11 swears, 0 "F' words) Mature Content- PG; Emily Webb, a geek and content to be one. One night,  everything changes - she starts sneaking out for parties and flirting with other girls’ boyfriends. On that night another classmate, Emily Cooke, was murdered. Emily has no idea what has come over her. Every night her personality changes and she becomes a more confident Emily, becoming fearless, faster and stronger. She starts to think that the other Emily's soul has bewitched her, or maybe she's becoming something unhuman...

This book was a very well written book. I like how it was a kind of look back on what Emily went through written in her words. The transcripts of the interrogations really build the tension, and it has a huge twist at the end. I would recommend this to people interested in the supernatural genre. MS – ADVISABLE.
