Not that Kind of Girl by Vivian Siobhan

Siobhan, Vivian Not that Kind of Girl, 336 pgs. Push, 2010. Language - Pg-13 (about 20 swears, 2-3 "f"); Sexual Content - R (lots of heavy make outs, sex talk, sex-though not descriptive); Violence - PG. From Goodreads: "Natalie Sterling wants to be in control. She wants her friends to be loyal. She wants her classmates to elect her student council president. She wants to find the right guy, not the usual jerk her school has to offer. She wants a good reputation, because she believes that will lead to good things. But life is messy and it's very hard to be in control..."
I had a hard time with this book. Natalie is a control freak and thinks she is always right and if others don't agree with her opinions, life style, and work ethic, they are idiots. She was mean and prideful and judgemental and really bossy. A girl can be strong and have high ideals without being a jerk. She gives strong girls a bad name. Natalie didn't change until the last ten pages and that was a little late for me to care.
I didn't like this book. But I'm sure a lot of teens would.
