Scones and Sensibility by Lindsay Eland

Eland, Lindsay Scones and Sensibility 320 pgs. Egmont, 2009.

NOT RECOMMENDED

While swooning over Pride and Prejudice and Anne of Green Gables, 12yo Polly Madassa decides her purpose in life: to help lonely hearts in search of love. With the summer stretching before her, and no obligations except to make deliveries for her parents' bakery, this young cupid has ample time to find and mend some broken hearts in her New Jersey Shore town.

This book was terrible. I didn't even get fifty pages before I just couldn't read it anymore. The whole time I was reading I wanted to scream that no one talks like that. Especially 12yo girls.
